We do! This is one of our specialties, and something that sets us apart from other local moving companies. The level of professionalism and respect that our movers demonstrate has allowed us to partner with local assisted living and other senior living facilities to provide moving services to seniors that account for their specific needs.

Do you have experience packing and handling medical equipment?

Our team is experienced in the safe handling and transport of medical devices and other sensitive equipment, to include items such as CPAP machines, oxygen tanks & concentrators, nebulizers, blood pressure monitors, emergency response equipment, and more. We’re also experienced with the safe handling of sensitive and important medical records and documents.

How do you handle the packing & transport of delicate items?

ECL Movers is a very family-oriented company. As such, we understand the significant sentimental value of family heirlooms, collectables, and other delicate items such as family photos, antique furniture, and more. We treat these items as if they were our own, by providing extensive packing services that ensure these delicate items are adequately protected during the entire move, even providing climate controlled environments if necessary.

Can family members be involved in the planning and moving process?

Of course – in fact, we encourage this! Moves for anyone of any age can be stressful, especially for seniors that may have medical or cognitive conditions. As a local, family-owned business ourselves, we’re here to coordinate with any family member we need to, at any stage of the move. Our goal with any move is to make everything as easy as possible, whatever that requires.

What if an accident happens? Are you insured?

While we take every safety precaution possible for every move of any size whatsoever, we know that its still possible for an accident to happen. That’s why ECL Movers is fully licensed and insured, so that you can head into your move with the peace of mind that if something unlikely and unfortunate does happen, everyone is covered.
